Before you even think about whispering a guide if he or she is able to take on another student, you should read at least The Wandering Monk chapters "What is a Monk?" through "Nirvana." All of the other chapters in this scroll are important as well, however these are what your guide will focus on once you find one. The proper way of contacting a guide is by writing them a ((roleplay)) letter including where you were born, where you grew up, how you found out about the Monks, why you wanted to join the Monks, and any other details you would like to include. This letter should be at least 400 words long, and should include as many details as you can think of. ((Examples can be found at the Monk website http://www.bodhisanctum.com.)) Once you have written your letter, you should find the list of Monk guides: ((http://users.nexustk.com/webreport/Monk.htm)) If you do not hear a response from the guide you submitted your story, you may try another guide.
